   My church had its 175th Anniversary in 2022! I'm so proud to be part of this church family and carry on the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I painted the original in oils over a year. I started in the winter,  taking photos and deciding on just the right perspective. As I started painting in the structure and putting it all together, Spring came into bloom, and the dogwoods lit up and I realized it had to be an Easter Scene. I also decided I should try to make it more than a nice architectural rendering, so I put some drama in the sky, and I added in church goers, walking into the Sanctuary. Most of the people are painted from actual members that I took photos of a the went to Church over a few Sundays. I donated the original, which hangs in our history/prayer room in the Sanctuary. Prints were a big hit during the 175th Celebration. I offer these permanently on my website here in 3 sizes, framed or unframed.
