"Moonlit Lake" by JK Christian 32”x48” Oil on Canvas
  I painted this scene after driving over Jordan Lake during the "Super Moon" event of a couple years ago. So often the lake drive provides wonderful views of lake and sky, and this was one of the most dramatic. When I got to my studio I worked up some sketches and took notes and soon after that I put paint to canvas. I think I captured some of the drama, but also there's a calming feel to it.  Canvas frame is 1.5" deep, with the painting wrapped around it, so framing it is unnecessary for a modern look. Framing can be arranged if preferred.
